THE BOOK
We have over thirty years of parenting experience raising children with physical, medical, mental, and emotional special needs. Mothers of children with disabilities and special needs experience fear, guilt, grief, despair, and many more emotions that leave them feeling isolated and alone.
In our book, “The Other Side of Special,” we will not offer quick fixes or simple solutions to this complex journey we call special needs parenting. Instead, we will provide understanding, compassion, and solidarity, knowing God is present even amid difficult and messy emotions.
Together, there is joy, hope, and community.
